Spokane Floors turned INW Contractors and Design is a flooring store based in Spokane, WA. They are family-owned and operated with experience in both residential and commercial work throughout the Inland Northwest.
Since the owner purchased the business from his family in 2020, they have expanded to offer area rugs, counter-tops, and window coverings. The objective of this rebrand was to design a logo that represented the change in services and set themselves apart from the local competition.

Design Process
The marketing manager initially reached out to Hinna Co. to see if we could design a logo for their rebrand. We discussed her inspiration, the potential direction for the logo, and what the local competition typically did, while making a plan to differentiate.
After a few strategic consultations and design mocks with the marketing manager, we determined the new name for Spokane Floors in "INW Contractors and Design”. During that process, I was on my way to designing their logo. The process starts with determining the perfect typeface for the wordmark. In Adobe Illustrator, I made a handful of potential logos and refined as I went.
